Sabino Canyon, Tucson AZ 12-27-08
Sabino Canyon is located at the foot of the Santa Catalina Mountains on the east side of the city of Tucson. A shuttle bus takes you on a paved 3.8 mile road along the canyon floor and crosses nine low-water bridges. Hikers have a choice of several stops to hike and get back on the bus or get off at the top and walk all the way back, which is what we did.
